In this post, we will look at all cabin grades available onboard the Celebrity Silhouette, and I will share a review of the balcony cabin that I cruised in. None of the cabins on the Celebrity Silhouette have irons. There aren’t any ‘free to use’ laundries on Celebrity ships so your only option is to pay to have your clothes laundered. If you are cruising with friends who are in the balcony next to you, ask your cabin steward to remove the barrier between the two balconies, this gives us a huge balcony which was amazing. This could be a small piece of machinery below the balcony or to one side or it could mean that the cabins view is completely blocked. An oceanview cabin is very similar to an inside cabin but the cabin also has a window. This could be a large picture window or a small circular window.
I personally believe that there are no ‘bad’ cabins on cruise ships. Each cruise ship cabin is built in the same way and it’s only the location that changes. These perfectly indulgent spaces come furnished with Celebrity’s eXhale bedding featuring the queen-size Cashmere Mattress and everything else a modern traveler needs. The ship offers a primary pool area midship, along with a family pool, sports pool and wet zone.
At the martini bar, bartenders put on a fun, lively performance set to music outside the main dining room each night. They set up a pyramid of martini glasses and poured cocktails into them while standing on the bar. We locked in the cheapest cabin available using the Sail Away rate option. This rate doesn't allow you to select your location on the ship and isn't eligible for additional perks, but it includes entertainment, complimentary dining, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.
